Coronal Mass Ejection
Catalog: M2M_CATALOG
Start Time: 2026-03-17T08:23Z ( STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2 )
All Detecting Spacecrafts:
STEREO A: SECCHI/COR2
SOHO: LASCO/C2
Activity ID: 2026-03-17T08:23:00-CME-001 (version 1)
Source Location: S05W15
Note Keyword:
Source Signature Keyword:
FIL: Filament eruption
Morphology Keyword:
Note: CME visible to the SE in STEREO A COR2. The CME may also faintly be seen to the west in early frames of SOHO LASCO C2 imagery. It is not clearly visible in GOES CCOR-1 or STEREO A COR2 imagery. The potential source is a filament eruption with liftoff seen starting around 2026-03-17T05:15Z in the southeast of STEREO A EUV 304. The filament liftoff is also visible in GOES SUVI 304 imagery, centered around S05W15.

Event Type Catalog
Measurement TypeCME measurement type: Leading Edge (LE), Shock Front (SH), Right Hand Boundary (RHB), Left Hand Boundary (LHB), Black/White Boundary (BW), Prominence Core (COR), Disconnection Front (DIS), Trailing Edge (TE).
Prime?"primary flag" which is either True or False. If there are multiple CME analysis entries for a single CME, this flag would indicate which analysis is considered most accurate per measurement type. This is a helpful flag if you would like to download only one most accurate CME analysis per CME per Measurement Type
